<p>This invention provides a method for washing a filling apparatus which has no hygienic risk caused by a solid residue even upon washing after the production of a solid-containing filling, can shorten a CIP necessary time, and is provided with an inexpensive washing line with a reduced number of constituent elements, and a filling tank using the filling apparatus. A filling apparatus is washed which comprises a filling tank (10) having a substantially cylindrical barrel part, a filling liquid supply pipe (20) provided with an opening/closing valve (V1), for supplying a filling liquid into the filling tank, a breathing pipe (30) connected to the upper part of the filling tank, and a filling pipe (40) provided with a filling piston (41) and a filling nozzle (42) connected to the lower part of the filling tank. The filling liquid supply pipe and the filling tank are connected to each other in the barrel tangential direction of the filling tank. Accordingly, the inside of the tank is washed by swirl flow produced by liquid suppied into the filling tank, the breathing pipe is washed with a washing liquid which has reached the upper part of the filling tank, and the filling pipe is washed by the discharge of the washing liquid through the filling nozzle (42).</p> |
