<p>The invention belongs to the prepaid service in the communication field. A method for accounting a prepaid account is provided, wherein after an access request of a user is authenticated successfully, according to the available balance of the common account shared by the user and other users, the available traffic is sent down to a network access server; after an interim accounting-request sent by the network access server is received, according to the available balance of the common account shared by the user and other users, the available traffic is sent to the network access server. The scheme of the invention sends the available service down to the users segmentally at every accounting period, so that it is possible to support that an account is used by a plurality of users at the same time without overdraft. Furthermore, a system for accounting a prepaid account and a server for authenticating, authorizing and accounting are also provided.</p> |
