A display device is provided to form a sidewall of a bottom chassis such that the sidewall corresponds to a driving chip of a display panel to strengthen the bending strength of a portion of the display panel, which corresponds to the driving chip, to thereby prevent the display panel from being damaged. A display device(100) includes a display panel(200), a backlight unit(700), a mold frame(400), and a bottom chassis(500). The display panel has a driving chip(300) mounted therein. The backlight unit provides light to the display panel. The mold frame receives the backlight unit and the display panel. The bottom chassis is integrated with the mold frame and includes a bottom plate(510) and a sidewall(520). The bottom plate covers the bottom of the backlight unit and the sidewall is extended from the bottom plate and located on the outer face of the mold frame, which corresponds to the driving chip. |
