THE INTERLOCKING DEVICE STRUCTURE FOR TURNOUT, AND THE INTERLOCKING METHOD

An interlocking device for a turnout and an interlocking method are provided to facilitate installation and maintenance of the interlocking device regardless of an installation position of a point. An interlocking device includes a point(38), a first point connecting unit(A), a point guide(B), and a second point connecting unit(C). The point is installed outside a pair of base rails(50). The first point connecting unit is fixed to at one side of the point. The point guide is fixed to the other end of the point. The second point connecting unit is fixed to one side of the point guide. The interlocking device changes a railway line by contacting a pair of parallel tongue rails(10) to one of the pair of base rails.
