<p>A seat track assembly (1) includes a seat track (10) having an elongated track plate (11) and a pair of generally elongated, parallel, spaced-apart track flanges (16) extending from the track plate (11). Each of the track flanges (16) is variable in depth. A method of fabricating a seat track assembly (1) is also disclosed.</p>
