ACCESS PROBE RANDOMIZATION FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Access probe randomization for a wireless communication system is provided to randomize the transmission time of access probes, thereby preventing collision between the access probes. Each of at least one access probe requests connection to a network. Until the network connection is acknowledged, the access probes are transmitted. Each of at least one access probe is transmitted by random delay. The random delay is calculated prior to the transmission of each access probe. The random delay includes values between a predetermined minimum value and a predetermined maximum value.
