<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a moving distance due to slippage of a vehicle, equipped with a motor having a rotor connected to a driving shaft coupled to driving wheels. <P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that there is slippage occurring to the vehicle (S150) and if an absolute value of a request torque Td* is not longer than the absolute value of a component force Fm of the vehicle weight, based on a vehicle weight M and a road surface slope α (S180, S190), the motor is controlled (S230), by using a rotation limit processing rotation position θest so that the direction of a magnetic field to be formed on the stator of the motor can be fixed.
