PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsation absorber capable of reducing an influence on performance by the dimensional tolerance of each component part. SOLUTION: In the pulsation absorber, an annular seal member 40, an elastically deformable pulsation absorption plate 34, a support member 33 for supporting the pulsation absorption plate 34 and a hole retaining ring 35 for securing the seal member 40, the pulsation absorption plate 34 and the support member 33, are hierarchically arranged in this order from the inner side of an attachment hole 37 toward the opening 30a of the attachment hole 37. A pressure chamber 41 is defined by the pulsation absorption plate 34 and the seal member 40 in the attachment hole 37. The pulsation absorber is provided with a backup ring 45 formed of an elastic resin material and annularly arranged on the surface of the pulsation absorption plate 34 on the side of the pressure chamber 41 outside the outer peripheral surface of the seal member 40. The backup ring 45 presses the pulsation absorption plate 34 in the diameter-increasing direction of an inclined surface 100c formed on the inner peripheral surface 100b of the attachment hole 37 while the backup ring contacts with the inclined surface 100c.
