PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pad easily producing without the need of a cutting process of cutting in compliance with a pattern, and suitable for mass production. SOLUTION: This method for producing the pad includes a cotton filling process of filling a cotton member used as a core in a stretchable bag-like body 12 having an end part, a glue filling process of filling an adhesive glue in the cotton member filled in the bag-like body 12 after the cotton filling process, an opening blocking process of blocking an opening of the end part of the bag-like body 12 after the glue filling process, and a hot pressing process of forming the pad through hot pressing the bag-like body 12 after the opening blocking process. In the cotton filling process, the cotton member is filled in a layer-like form in the bag-like body 12. In the glue filling process, a filling amount of the adhesive glue is made small on the bottom and the upper part of the bag-like body 12, and a filling amount of the adhesive glue is made large in the middle part of the bag-like body 12.
