IMPROVEMENT IN FUEL OIL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil composition without having the same detrimental effects on cold-flow performances of a wax anti-settling additive in addition to providing detergency characteristics. SOLUTION: The fuel composition comprises a major amount of a fuel oil and minor amounts of (a) at least one polar nitrogen compound effective as the wax anti-settling additive and (b) at least one reaction product between a hydrocarbyl-substituted succinic acid or anhydride and hydrazine.
