PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device with an air flow stabilizing mechanism easy in miniaturization and assembling. SOLUTION: In the disk drive device provided with a base, a motor having a freely rotatable hub and provided in the base, a plurality of disks respectively supported and rotated by the motor, a head performing information processing to the disks, a carriage assembly provided in the base and freely movably supporting the head to the disks and straightening plates disposed between the plurality of disks and opposed to the surfaces of the disks via a gap, a shroud groove part is provided at a side surface part of the base and the straightening plate is inserted and assembled in the shroud groove part provided in a shroud surface.
