SUPPORT FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-accuracy support for an electrophotographic photoreceptor having good dimensional accuracy and small variation in an external diameter so as to minimize a color shift of a multicolor image which becomes problematic in use such as full-color printing, a method for manufacturing the same, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor and an image forming apparatus with which a good image is obtained. SOLUTION: The support for an electrophotographic photoreceptor is manufactured by subjecting a metal pipe stock to at least rough machining and finish machining, wherein variation in an external diameter of the metal pipe stock after the rough machining is≤0.02 mm. The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by forming a photosensitive layer on the support. The image forming apparatus uses the photoreceptor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
