PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens which is compact, whose aberration is corrected, which has excellent optical characteristic and which is constituted of two lenses. SOLUTION: The imaging lens LA is constituted of: a diaphragm S1; a first meniscus lens L1 turning its convex surface to an object side and having positive power; and a second meniscus lens L2 turning its convex surface to an image surface side and having negative power, in order from the object side to the image surface side.
