PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a display panel usable in common even for a display panel having a different size, equipped with a shielding member capable of shielding disturbance light in close proximity of the display panel and changing a shielding domain. SOLUTION: In this inspection device 10a for a liquid crystal display panel, positioning pins 42a/42b and positioning pins 43a/43b in a positioning mechanism 4 are constituted so that each position is fixed so as to sandwich a liquid crystal panel 20 from the right and left on a prescribed position, and a shielding means 5 provided on the positioning pins 42a/42b/43a/43b is arranged on the front of a frame 20c of the liquid crystal display panel simultaneously with position fixing. Hereby, entering of disturbance light into an imaging means from a hole part of the frame 20c can be shielded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
