PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cord reel reduced in the number of parts, sufficiently reduced in manufacturing cost, and having a small risk to damage a cord to be reeled. SOLUTION: This cord reel 5 comprises a case body 10 and a rotor 60. The case body 10 has a bottom surface 20 generally cylindrically formed and having, on the front surface side, a swelled part 30 swelling downward, and a side surface 40 vertically extending from the edge of the bottom surface 20. The rotor 60 has a rotor body 62 and three or more bosses 80. The rotor body 62 has a side wall 66 having an arcuate peripheral surface and a circumferentially formed part 72 projecting from the circumferential surface of the side wall 66. The boss 80 is so formed that the bottom surface is brought into contact with an area other than the swelled part 30 of the bottom surface 20 of the case body 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
