An LCD device is provided to enable a pattern spacer formed between upper and lower substrates to hold a cell gap in a curved portion constantly, thereby preventing color from being changed by a cell gap variation. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device comprises an upper substrate(10), a black matrix(12), a color filter layer(14), a common electrode(16), and a pattern spacer(54). The black matrix is formed on the upper substrate. The color filter layer is formed on the substrate on which the black matrix is formed. The common electrode is formed on the color filter layer. The pattern spacer is formed on the black matrix between unit pixel areas. |
