An apparatus for searching channels in a complex tuner module is provided to perform channel search on the entire complex tuner within a short time, thereby shortening the channel search time. A complex module includes at least two tuners(21,22) and at least two MPEG(Motion Picture Experts Group) decoders(24,25). A controller(27) outputs channel search control signals for the two tuners. Channel information-storing units(29) store channel information searched from the two tuners according to the channel search control signals, respectively. The tuners are terrestrial digital broadcasting tuners, satellite digital broadcasting tuners, or analog broadcasting tuners.
