A 2+5 structure steel cord for a tire of vehicle is provided to enhance the anti-corrosion property and the durability of the tire and to form a stable twist structure. The steel cord comprises two strands of core lines and five side lines and has a twist structure of 2xd1+5xd2. In the core line and side line, the twist directions thereof are the same and the twist length is different with each other. The diameter(d2) of a side line is above 1.4 to 2.0 times compared to the diameter(d1) of a core line. The diameter of the side line and core line is within the range of 0.1-0.4mm. The twist length of the steel cord is 5-40mm. The twist is formed firstly to the core line and thereafter the core line is connected with the side line, so that the twist direction of core line and the side line is the same and the length thereof is different. Consequently, the rubber infiltration property relating to the steel cord is increased so that the rubber adhesion rate is increased when the tire is manufactured.
