<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for nasal cavity dilation excellent in nasal breathing improvement effect useful for preventing snore and an apnea phenomenon and in easiness of usage, by expanding the dilation part, arranged close to the hard palate and/or soft palate of a nasal cavity, with the use of an injection medium thereby securing sufficient force for nasal cavity dilation, and easily taking out the catheter in collection after usage without using an introducer or a sheath. <P>SOLUTION: The catheter includes: dilation parts 3, 4, having a ventilation space and composed of freely foldable and contractable dilators 7, 9, arranged at the prescribed places of an injection tube 2 to be inserted to a nostril; and a valve member 5 arranged at the proximal end part of the tube. The medium such as gas or liquid is injected to the tube 2 through the valve member 5, thereby expanding the dilators 7, 9 and increasing the diameters of the dilation parts 3, 4 in a state where the ventilation space is secured.
