CHARACTERISTIC EXPRESSION EXTRACTION DEVICE, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic expression extraction device capable of extracting characteristic expressions adapted to an extraction condition represented by a user's input history, display capabilities of a display terminal, etc.

SOLUTION: The characteristic expression extraction device for extracting characteristic expressions adapted to the user by allowing the user to set the order of extraction of characteristic expressions from a text is provided with: an extraction order reading section 103 for obtaining characteristic expression pattern names stored in an extraction order storage section 102 in association with the extraction order; a characteristic expression extraction section 105 for extracting characteristic expressions from an input text by using characteristic expression patterns corresponding to the characteristic expression pattern names obtained by the extraction order reading section 103; and an extraction end determination section 106 for outputting the text from which characteristic expressions are being extracted, to the extraction order reading section 103 and continuing the characteristic expression extraction if the extraction does not end.
