<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress alignment disorder of a liquid crystal caused by surface pushing by which the display surface of a liquid crystal display is pushed, by forming each of a plurality of sub pixels obtained by dividing a pixel as one electrically independent pixel. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display 1 which has a liquid crystal layer 20 between substrates 10 and 30 opposed to each other and wherein a pixel 40 comprises the plurality of sub pixels 50 (51, 52, 53) subjected to multi-domain alignment, a dielectric body 16 is provided on a connection part 14 electrically connecting the sub pixels 50 with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
