摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove snow and ice accretion that causes galloping since large blackout occurs due to an interphase short-circuit, a ground fault or mechanical damage caused by the occurrence of the galloping due to a wing effect of snow and ice accretion deposited on an overhead transmission line in winter. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of a two-circuit transmission line, a specific high-frequency LC series resonant circuit is wire-connected to each phase of the transmission line at both ends of a section in the transmission line, where snow and ice accretion occurs, along with mounting it on or under a steel-tower arm via an insulating board while securing the transmission line instead of a conventional insulator string. Each low-voltage side of each resonant circuit of a first near-end circuit line is connected to a single high-frequency power supply such as an inverter through a phase switch and it is grounded. Each low-voltage side of each resonant circuit of first/second far-end circuit lines is connected with each other while avoiding the steel tower with a small insulator tube. In this way, a high-frequency current is made to flow into each phase of the transmission line from each resonant circuit of the first circuit line. At the far end, only the high-frequency current is returned to its original power supply from each near-end resonant circuit via an overhead ground wire or the like after reaching each phase of the second circuit line through each resonant circuit. As a result, snow and ice accretion can be removed by high heat-generation of the surface layer of the transmission line caused by large skin effects. The number of the resonant circuits can be reduced from twelve to four if hot-line connection is simultaneously used. It is further preferable if high-resistance almoweld strands or the like are twisted around the outermost layer of the transmission line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
