摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil that can effectively improve magnetic flux density by increasing the strength of a magnetic substance when the magnetic substance is constituted by iron powders and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: An ignition coil 1 includes a primary coil 21, a secondary coil 22, a magnetic substance 3 that magnetic flux generated by the primary coil 21 passes through and the secondary coil 22, a resin case 4 that accommodates the magnetic substance 3, the primary coil 21 and the secondary coil 22, and an insulating resin 5 to be charged into the resin case 4. The magnetic substance 3 is obtained by compression-molding a power pressed material using iron powders with an insulating coating. The power pressed material comprises≥50 wt.% of the iron powders having a particle diameter of 150-300μm.
