<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption while increasing the useful life of a battery and to make a display easy to see at a low cost, as to an LED display timepiece displaying time by using LEDs. <P>SOLUTION: This LED display timepiece comprises LEDs 26 for hour display disposed at prescribed intervals such as 30 degree intervals around a display part 35 and LEDs 27 for minute display provided so as to allow a number of two figures to be displayed in the middle of the display part surrounded by these LEDs for hour display. The LEDs for hour display are turned on to show hours while the LEDs for minute display are turned on to show minutes, with a combination thereof causing the display part to display time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
