PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a propylenic block copolymer which is excellent in rigidity and impact resistance, especially impact resistance at a low temperature. SOLUTION: This method for producing a propylenic block copolymer, comprising a polymerization process (I) for homopolymerizing propylene or copolymerizing propylene with an olefin in the presence of a polymerization catalyst to produce a polymer component in which the content of monomer units based on propylene is≥90 wt.%, and a subsequent polymerization process (II) for copolymerization propylene with an olefin to produce a polymer component in which the content of monomer units based on propylene is 10 to 90 wt.%, is characterized by adding a halogen element-containing organic aluminum compound (D) and a cyclic organic nitrogen compound (E) between the polymerization process (I) and the polymerization process (II) or in the polymerization process (II).
