PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid detergent for a flush toilet by using an anionic surfactant as a main agent, having a uniform solubility and an excellent lasting property over whole using period by suppressing the swelling to water and controlling the solubility, and further controlling the solubility even on blending high concentration of the anionic surfactant, and also having a high cleaning effect. SOLUTION: This solid detergent for the flush toilet contains the anionic surfactant expressed by the following general formula: R1COO-R2-SO3M [wherein, R1 is a 7-21C alkyl; R2 is a 2-3C alkyl; and M is an alkali metal].
