PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting module capable of reducing power consumption in a thermoelectric conversion element for adjusting the temperature of an EA-DFB laser. SOLUTION: The light emitting module 1a has: the EA-DFB laser 25; the thermoelectric conversion element 21 that has first and second mount surfaces 21a, 21b, mounts an EA-DFB laser 25 on the first mount surface 21a, and controls the temperature of the EA-DFB laser 25; a substrate 22 that abuts on the second mount surface 21b and mounts the thermoelectric conversion element 21; and a terminator 28 connected to the EA-DFB laser 25.
