PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet classifying machine substantially improving treating capacity of paper sheets like large thin objects. SOLUTION: A feed device of the paper sheet classifying machine is provided with a one sheet feed part 5, a carrying part 6, an ejecting part 7, a correction part 8, a transfer part 9 and a control part. When the control part judges, based on detection signals from the transfer part 9, that the paper sheets 10a cannot be transferred to a carrying box 30a scheduled at first due to carrying delay, the paper sheets 10a are transferred to a subsequent carrying box 30b, and the one sheet feed part 5, having a suction belt 51 and feed start belts 52, 53, inputs carrying start signals, the feed start belts 52, 53 restart to rotate, and starts carrying.
