PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition having excellent bactericidal effects and long-term preservation stability. SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition is characterized by comprising (a) isopropylmethylphenol, (b) lauroylsarcosine sodium and (c) polyvinylpyrrolidone in 0.1-3.0 mass ratio (c)/(b) of the (c) to the (b). The dentifrice composition has the excellent bactericidal effects and long-term preservation stability, scarcely causes solid-liquid phase separation even by preservation for a long period of time and is good in aspects of safety.
