PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger guidance system capable of providing current information to passengers both in stations and in trains on a real time basis uniformly from a local area to an urban area irrespective of a line or train density. SOLUTION: Information on train operation control systems 1, 2 across a plurality of lines is comprehensively controlled by a comprehensive guidance information processor 4 to generate common guidance information to trains 21, 22 and stations 17, 18 and transmit the information using a communication satellite 7. Even if an operational situation of the train is changed, common guidance information can be instantaneously transmitted to various kinds of guidance facilities controlled by the plurality of train operation control systems 1, 2. In addition, within a reception range of the communication satellite 7, any facility of transmitting information on the real time basis need not be newly installed on lines, resulting in the suppression of an installation cost and a maintenance cost therefor.
