PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure efficiently suppressing deformation of a vehicle body component when a load is input. SOLUTION: A lock reinforce 29 and a switch bracket 41 are provided to bridge an inner panel 5 and an outer panel 3, and a portion in the vicinity of a fitting part of a switch operation part 63 on the back face side of the outer panel 3 is surrounded by a side wall part 45 and a lower wall part 43 of the switch bracket 41 and a step part 21 of the outer panel 3. By this structure, the rigidity in the vicinity of the fitting part of the switch operation part 63 is improved. Thus, even when press force is applied to the switch operation part 63, deformation of the outer panel 3 can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
