PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate dividing device which achieves extension of abrasion life of a router bit and reduction of exchange frequency without changing elevating and lowering operations of a conventional air cylinder. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the substrate dividing device, an air cylinder stopper 18 for setting a second stopping location, is arranged at a predetermined height of a fixed portion 6a of the air cylinder 6 on which a router is mounted, and a cam plate 23 having knock pins 25 press-fitted into one surface thereof and cam ridges 23a and cam valleys 23b formed on and in the other surface thereof is arranged at a lower portion of the air cylinder stopper 18 so as to be rotatable only leftward by a one-way clutch 22. Then an arm 27 is rotatably arranged on an arm mounting pin 26 as a shaft, and a cam follower 30 which abuts on the cam ridges 23a and the cam valleys 23b, is arranged at one end of the arm 27, followed by arranging a spacer 31 for setting a first stopping location, at the other end. Further a claw 20 for lifting up the knock pins 25 only at the time of elevation to rotate the cam plate 23 leftward, is arranged at a lower end of a movable portion 6b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
