An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to arrange red, green and blue pixels vertically to reduce the number of data lines while increasing the number of gate lines to decrease the number of data drive ICs(Integrated Circuits). An LCD includes a plurality of unit pixels(PXL) arranged in one direction along a data line, red, green and blue pixels(R,G,B) commonly connected to the data line, a plurality of gate lines respectively connected to the red, green and blue pixels, a first gate driver(GD1) provided at one side of the gate lines to drive some of the gate lines, and a second gate driver(GD2) disposed at the other side of the gate lines to drive the other gate lines. Gate lines connected to pixels of at least one type for representing the same color are driven by the same gate driver. |
