A rotary compressor is provided to reduce the number of required parts and assembling work, and to prevent the increase of compressor vibration resulted from the resonance among suction pipes by connecting the suction pipe to the inlet of any one of the cylinders. A rotary compressor includes a plurality of cylinder assemblies(300,400), and a suction pipe(710) connected to the inlet(311) of any one of the cylinder assemblies, wherein that(411) of the other cylinder assembly is connected to the one which is connected to the suction pipe via a communication hole(511) and a volume of the communication hole is 3-7% of the volume of a compression path(V2) of the other cylinder assembly. |
