A mesh network within a device is provided to generate a wireless communication signal, insert one of an ID or an address of a second local transceiver into the wireless communication signal, and transmit the communication to the third local transceiver through a wireless communication link, thereby enabling a first local transceiver to transmit communications to other local transceivers as nodes within the mesh network, wherein each of the nodes forms a communication link with at least one node for transmitting the communications. A method for routing and transmitting communications between local transceivers operated as nodes of a mesh network within a single device comprises the following steps of: generating a wireless communication signal for a specific second local transceiver and inserting one of an ID(IDentification) or an address of the second local transceiver into the wireless communication signal(830); determining whether to transmit the wireless communication signal to a third local transceiver or a fourth local transceiver for transmitting the communication to the second local transceiver directly(834); transmitting the communication to the third local transceiver through a wireless communication link(838); transmitting the communication within a waveguide formed within the same IC(Integrated Circuit), a board or a supporting substrate(842); receiving loading information for loading of at least one local transceiver or at least one communication link(846); and generating next hop determinations and routing on the basis of the received loading information. |
