A compressor, a control method thereof, and a refrigerator having the same are provided to minimize the vibration transmitted from the compressor to the outside and to minimize the number of required component parts, by using a vibration absorber for additional fluid compression in addition to vibration absorbing. A compressor includes a linear compression part(100), a vibration absorber(210) connected to the linear compression part for absorbing the vibration of the linear compression part, and an absorber cylinder(220) in which the vibration absorber reciprocates straightly for compressing fluid during the vibration absorber vibrates, thereby serving as an additional compression part.
