<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information from being leaked from an image processing system, composed of an image forming apparatus with a calibration function, in the name of calibration function execution. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation system including the image processor which calibrates recording characteristics, based upon data received from the image forming apparatus forming an image on a recording medium, includes: a means of informing the image forming apparatus that a test print result is read in by the image forming apparatus in such a case, and a means of deciding whether a print layout of the read result is the same as a print layout of the test print and not transmitting the read result to the image processor when the decision result is not true; or a means of transmitting only read-in image information specified with the transmitted position information to the image processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
