<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodynamic therapy (PDT) apparatus surely treating a lesion alone while preventing an injury of a living body shallow part from increase/decrease of the amount of PDT medicine accompanying with increase/decrease of blood flow amount, imposing little physical and mental burden on a patient, and exerting a high treatment effect, adjusting the blood flow flowing a lesion by controlling the intensity of the laser light by focusing attention on that a reduction state of the blood flow amount is different according to the intensity of laser light, in executing a photodynamic therapy; and its usage method. <P>SOLUTION: This photodynamic therapy apparatus for executing the photodynamic therapy is characterized in controlling the peak intensity of the light for reducing the blood flow flowing the blood vessel in a shallow part 42 closer to the side of an illumination means 11 than the lesion 41, and treating the deep lesion 41 alone while conserving the shallow part 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
