<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator apparatus for a spring type brake actuator, allowing external determination that mechanical release is certainly performed. <P>SOLUTION: The spring type brake actuator 100 is provided with a piston 40 energized by a power spring 45 and arranged in a housing 20, and performs mechanical release in a manner that a nut 44 screwed around a release bolt 50 passing through the piston 40 is moved on the shaft 50B of the release bolt 50 against the spring force of the power spring 45 by rotation of the release bolt 50. In the actuator, an indicator 70 is provided which projects to the outside from one end of the release bolt 50 by being pushed by the nut 44 when the nut 44 reaches a completely operative position for the mechanical release or the vicinity thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
