<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which a device can be operated without fault, and to provide a reference clock supplying method. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus which includes an interface of the PCI Express standard between a controller and an engine and supplies a reference clock with a frequency for PCI Express spread from the controller to the engine, starts oscillation of the reference clock after the I/O power supply voltage for PCI Express of the engine is settled within an operating-voltage range, when initiating the image processing apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
