PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can prevent the wasteful consumption of electric power of a battery arising from an output of an abnormality detection signal, even when the abnormality detection signal having a predetermined voltage value is outputted at the time of a fault of the battery. SOLUTION: In a battery protection circuit 12, an overcharge detection signal and an overdischarge detection signal are outputted from cell monitor ICs 121, 122, 123. When a current arising from these signals is caused to flow from a conductor wiring 124 to the negative electrode of a battery cell B1, a transistor Tr7 is switched off and the electrical connection between the conductor wiring 124 and the negative electrode of the battery cell B1 is interrupted.
