PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of responding to types of endoscopes, suppressing the increase in a circuit scale and having expandability. SOLUTION: CPU 22 reads a corresponding parameter from a table 23 storing parameters for image processing according to the type of a scope 2 based on a scope ID obtained from the scope 2 equipped with a CCD 10, and writes it in a register for various types of functional modules in an image processor 21.
