PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent article forming voluminous, highly retentive, and aesthetically desirable foam. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent article is prepared by filling a container equipped with a pump foamer having 1 or 2 porous membranes of a mesh size of 100-300/inch as a foam ejection mechanism with a liquid detergent composition containing (a) 20-50 mass% surfactant, (b) 1-15 mass% organic solvent, and (C) 2.5-10 mass% at least one member selected from among citric acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, malic acid, lactic acid, and derivatives thereof, and water, and having a pH at 25°C of 5-8 and viscosity at 20°C of 30-80 mPa s.
