PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a microlens having a desired precise shape. SOLUTION: The optical component includes: a lens holder including a first electrode 12, an insulating structure 14 formed on the first electrode 12 and having a through hole H provided as an optical path, and at least one second electrode 16 formed inside the insulating structure 14 to encompass the through hole H; and at least one microlens 18 located in the through hole H and formed of a transparent resin. The optical component, more particularly, the lens holder having various shapes can simultaneously function to finely control the lens profile and function as the lens barrel that supports the lens.
