PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet handling device capable of efficiently filling a bundle of irregular paper sheets into a paper feeding cassette while saving a space. SOLUTION: In this paper sheet handling device 1, one part of the paper feeding cassette 7 is provided with a paper sheet aligning function part 101 formed of a paper sheet aligning port 102 comprising inclined surfaces 108 and 109 inclined to cross each other. A bundle of irregular paper sheets is set so that corners thereof are dropped to be brought in contact with each of the inclined surfaces 108 and 109 in lateral end surfaces and longitudinal end surfaces thereof to form a paper sheet bundle aligned in the lateral end surfaces and the longitudinal end surfaces, and the paper sheet bundle aligned in the lateral end surfaces and the longitudinal end surfaces is filled in a paper sheet filling part 111 of the paper feeding cassette 7.
