PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having an inner liner comprising a specific rubber composition, maintaining air retaining characteristics and improving road noise without deteriorating rolling resistance and durability. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire 1 having the inner liner 10 on the tire inner face, a ratio (E'r/E'p) of a dynamic elastic modulus E'r in the tire axial direction of inner liner rubber obtained from the tire 1 to a dynamic elastic modulus E'p in the tire circumferential direction is set 1.1 or more.
