PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative power supplying method in which there is no fear of erroneous connection and coming off of the connection, not requiring a large space, and capable of supplying electric power in place of an on-vehicle battery by a simple operation when exchanging the on-vehicle battery. SOLUTION: When a vehicular battery B is exchanged, the alternative power supplying method supplies electric power to electric loads 41 to 44 connected to the battery B without passing through an accessory switch 13 and an ignition switch 16 and relays 24 to 27 on behalf of the battery B. At a socket to which the relays should be connected, two pin terminals 51, 53 should be connected on behalf of the relays, and a secondary battery Ba which can discharge electricity from the pin terminals 51, 53 are prepared. The relays are removed, and the pin terminals 51, 53 are connected to the sockets to which the relays should be connected, thereby supplying the electric power from the secondary battery Ba on behalf of the battery B.
