PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a movement of a shock absorbing pad due to a movement of an upper reinforcing member or a lower reinforcing member in a forward and backward direction of a vehicle at the time of side collision. SOLUTION: A lower beam bracket 52 is jointed to a lower beam 22, and a shock absorbing pad 40 is rotatably connected by a plate-like piece 52B of the lower beam bracket 52 with a bolt 54 and a nut 55. A first nipping part 44 and a second nipping part 46 are provided on a top of the shock absorbing pad 40 at different positions in a forward and backward direction of the vehicle, so as to nip the plate-like piece 50B of the upper beam bracket 50 jointed to the upper beam 20 between the first nipping part 44 and the second nipping part 46.
