PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Braille information processor which can properly use a first-grade Braille and a second-grade Braille. SOLUTION: The Braille information processor includes a Braille pattern conversion means which converts inputted character information to a Braille pattern on the basis of either of a first-grade Braille notation processing rule and a second-grade Braille notation processing rule, and an inputting environment setting means which sets an input environment to either of a first-grade Braille mode that uses the first-grade Braille notation processing rule and a second-grade Braille mode that uses the second-grade Braille notation processing rule. The Braille pattern conversion means converts the inputted character information to a first-grade Braille pattern on the basis of the first-grade Braille notation processing rule when the input environment is set to the first-grade Braille mode, and converts the inputted character information to a second-grade Braille pattern on the basis of the second-grade Braille notation processing rule when the input environment is set to the second-grade Braille mode.
