PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion body for bedding which has superior lightweight and hardness. SOLUTION: This cushion body for the bedding is constituted by putting Shirasu balloons in flexible polyurethane foam obtained by foaming and hardening a foaming material including polyol, polyisocyanate, foaming agent and catalyst. Polyether polyol is preferable as the polyol to be included in the foaming material and Shirasu balloons preferably has a content of 1-20 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of polyol. Preferably, the hardness (in conformity to JIS K 6400) of polyurethane foam including Sirasu balloons is 150-200 N, and its density (in conformity with JIS K 6400) is 28-40 kg/m<SP>3</SP>.
